Jessica Lizzio

Jessica Lizzio is the Director of Medical Engagement at Reach Out and Read of Greater New York. Having immigrated to Queens, NY from Colombia as a teenager, diversity and advocating for underserved communities are central to her mission. Before joining Reach Out and Read, Jessi served as a Developmental Specialist Supervisor at Boston Children’s Hospital Early Intervention Program, focusing on evaluating and providing in-home services for children ages 0 to 3 with developmental delays. Since joining ROR GNY, her goal has been to empower children and families. As Senior Manager of Medical Engagement, Jessi and her team collaborated with medical providers at over 230 sites across the Greater New York area to deliver high-quality ROR programs at clinics and hospitals. In her new role, she plans to deepen relationships with medical providers to promote developmental surveillance and Early Relational Health during Well Child Visits.
