Advocacy Day with the American Academy of Pediatrics
February 23, 2010. Albany, NY.
On February 23, 2010, Reach Out and Read of Greater New York staff, program coordinators, medical directors and supporters, joined the American Academy of Pediatrics in Albany for a day of advocacy. In addition to meetings with key legislators, Reach Out and Read of Greater New York delivered postcards from parents to to NYS Assembly Speaker Sheldon Speaker. The postcards described the benefits of Reach Out and Read and urge legislators to maintain support for Reach Out and Read in the State budget. Contact us for more details.
